ABOUT
Ozark Aeroworks, LLC (OAW) is a veteran-owned small business with big experience. After more than 40 years of involvement in the T53 Series Engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) industry, OAW’s CEO, Ken Essary, decided to start his own shop--located in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri.
In October 2014, OAW partnered with Mike O’Reilly, Owner/Chairman of Eagle, Ltd. Eagle has been an industry leader in the helicopter MRO and leasing business since 1973. This synergy made the new partnership a perfect fit. Eagle has since relocated its T53 engine MRO tooling, equipment, and test cell to the OAW facility—further enhancing and expanding OAW’s capabilities, offering customers a dynamic duo built on exceptional quality, extensive capabilities, and strong reputations.
At the beginning of 2017, OAW expanded its reach to include machining and welding capabilities, along with becoming a Triumph Engine Control Systems Approved Service Center. Most recently, Ozark Aeroworks was named as the official coordinator of Triumph's T53 Engine Fuel Control Lead the Fleet Program. These features, in addition to our already proven NDT/NDI lab, offer customers even more in-house production expertise.
In 2021, Ozark Aeroworks added full MRO capabilities for the Rolls-Royce M250 line--specifically the C47, C30, and C20 models--to its Capability List. With this expansion, we gained an expert in the Rolls-Royce M250, Mr. Allen Abshire, who possess almost 40 years of Rolls-Royce M250 Engine Series career experience.
Ozark Aeroworks and Eagle acquired the Honeywell T53 Engine line in December 2021, making us the new Ozark Model T53 Engine OEM. We look forward to working alongside our T53 Service/Repair Center Network and Master Distributor (NorcaTec) to provide world class OEM spare parts and service support to all T53 Engine operators worldwide.
Ken isn't the only highly experienced person at OAW. Our team of technical staff members has clocked more than 500 years of combined aviation maintenance experience! A majority of those years are dedicated to the T53 Engine.
In addition to our extensive experience, OAW is an FAA Part 145 Certificated Repair Station for the T53 Series and Rolls-Royce M250 Series; an EASA Certificated Repair Station; and a Triumph Engine Control Systems Authorized Service Center. We serve multiple industry segments including commercial and military customers.
We know what it takes to be a premier Ozark Model T53 and Rolls-Royce M250 Engine MRO provider. Our customers are our priority, and we deliver the benchmark service they deserve. Ozark Aeroworks prides itself on being a facility with complete and extensive capabilities locally, as well as providing field service worldwide. We look forward to partnering with you to meet your engine needs.
