Aircraft maintenance: A big business ran by a majority of small businesses
While aircraft maintenance is a big business, it's small businesses that make up the majority of the repair stations. According to the following video provided by ARSA to promote the aviation maintenance industry, there are more than 4,000 FAA certificated repair facilities in the US, most of which are smaller, family-owned companies. The majority of those repair stations employee fewer than 50 people.
Ozark Aeroworks is proud to be one of those FAA certificated small business repair stations. We currently employee fewer than 25 people, and we are an efficient and competitive leader in the T53 engine series maintenance, repair, and overhaul industry.
